Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Lauren Rodewald is known for her ability to bring the right people together to solve problems efficiently and thoroughly. With over a decade of experience managing complex construction projects across Europe and North America, she ensures Nelson Construction’s developments are delivered with precision, collaboration, and results.

Lauren thrives on watching the Nelson team work together to meet ambitious project objectives, and she describes her colleagues as passionate, hardworking, and fun. Among her proudest accomplishments is the The Grand Ryefield project, where the team successfully overcame significant utility challenges to deliver under tough conditions—an achievement that underscored the strength of teamwork and perseverance.

She holds a BS in Hospitality Administration with a concentration in Services Marketing from Cornell University, is First Aid and OSHA 10 Certified, and brings more than 10 years of experience managing foodservice construction projects in stadiums and event facilities. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys finding ways to connect her professional drive with her love for collaboration and community, spending time with her two daughters, photography, and trying new restaurants.
